

How to: Sit on the edge of a bench with your legs extended. Place your hands behind you for support, as in the picture, and grasp the sides of the bench. Bring your legs to a right angle and slowly push them back to the extended position. It is important that you bring them up slowly and return them to the extended position slowly.
Safety hint: Grasp the sides of the bench very tightly. The support you provide is very important to prevent back pain.
